What is recharge?

recharge is a two-way text message program designed to help you build your resilience and bounce back from challenge and adversity. You will get guidance in 3 key domains of resilience:

How does it work?

The program will start by texting you with a few brief questions about your level of resilience in the face of challenges. Based on your responses, you will receive tailored text messages to boost your resilience.

How long is it?

You can use recharge as much as you’d like for up to a year. After you answer the initial questions, you will receive a text message tip every day for a month. Each week, we will text you a few more brief questions so we can customize your messages for you. If you decide to continue, we’ll update your feedback regularly.

How do I begin?

To start the recharge program, text the start word that is given to you by your recharge program administrator.

What should I do if I want to stop receiving text messages?

Text “Stop” to the recharge phone number you were given by your administrator.

Text “Restart” to receive texts again.

What information is collected about me?

The recharge program requires your mobile phone number to send and receive SMS text messages. Beyond your phone number, the program does not collect any personally identifiable information, including but not limited to, name, age, and sex.

Will you share my information?

While we do share usage trends and aggregated response data with partners, ProChange does not share, sell, or otherwise transfer any user-specific information provided to us in the recharge program, including phone numbers, to any 3rd party entities.

Will this cost me anything?

The recharge program is free to use, although your carrier message and data rates may apply to any text messages you send or receive.

How can I change the time of day that I receive the text messages?

Messages are initially sent at approximately the time of day that you first sign up for the program. If you want to receive those messages at a different time, please email us at recharge@prochange.com. In that email, provide your phone number, your time zone, the exact time of a recently received message, and the new time of day that you would like to receive those messages.
